WhyTaiwan Project
One person can show you one side of Taiwan. Thousands of real experiences can show you something much bigger.People come to Taiwan for many reasons and have different experiences worth sharing. WhyTaiwan helps those experiences be shared, discovered, and passed on.One person. One story. Together, a bigger picture of Taiwan.
WhyTaiwan? is an independent passion project and concept test, not a company. The goal is to build a richer, more human picture of Taiwan from real lived experiences, not to collect stories to sell participant data.
Each story matters on its own. Over time, recurring themes, challenges and positive experiences may also help us understand how people experience Taiwan and make those experiences more visible and useful. If the concept proves useful, the long-term hope is to grow WhyTaiwan? into a nonprofit.
We are building a place where Taiwan stories can be discovered, explored and shared. As more people contribute, this will become a growing home for real first-person experiences of Taiwan.
